Graphite flakes were oxidized following the Hummer's method and through ultrasound exfoliation, graphene oxide, GO, was obtained. The extract in aqueous solution of dried and pulverized leaves of Neem (Azadirachta indica) was mixed with the GO as a previous step to obtain the composites. Aqueous solutions of Titanium Isopropoxide were made which were mixed with the solution previously prepared with GO and neem extract, obtaining the TiO2-GO. Varying the percentage of GO, the photocatalytic activity of the composite was studied through the degradation of Rhodamine B, RhB. The half-life time of RhB, calculated according to the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model, was 30 min.
